Introducing dypt

What is dypt

👋 Welcome friends from afar. Thrilled you've found this little corner of the internet. I'm Dane, a solo dev - and I'm passionate about productivity, self improvement and helping people get things done.

dypt is a completely free task manager that goes beyond the ordinary to help you get on top of what matters. Subtasks that go as deep as you need, AI-powered creation, first class scheduling, and much more.

For the curious, dypt means 'deep' or 'deeply' in Norwegian, and that's exactly what dypt is all about. Going deep into your tasks to keep you moving forwards.

Why create dypt?

❤️ dypt is a labour of love for me, it was born from a burning desire to create the task manager I've always craved.

To prove it, I've built dypt... using dypt! From process flows to bug fixes and everything in between. Even this intro post was planned out in the app itself.

Why use dypt?

ğŸŽ¯ Every task, no matter how big or complex, can be broken down into more manageable pieces. With dypt, your task list doesn't stop at one level, it goes as deep as you need, helping you navigate your tasks to completion.

💡 Ever wished for a personal assistant who could help with that task you've been putting off? dypt puts AI literally at your fingertips, it can help generate suggested subtasks to get you started. It can suggest ideas to give you a spark of inspiration and it can even create shopping/packing lists to take the tedium out of your day.

🌐 Working remotely? On a business trip or maybe you're just at the supermarket? Access dypt from anywhere, anytime. All you need is a web browser and your tasks are right at your fingertips. Stay organized no matter where you are.

📱 It's built to work brilliantly on desktop and mobile. It's not just a web app, it's a Progressive Web App. This means you can install it on your phone or tablet by using your browser to add it to your home screen. It's always there whenever you need it with no download required.

📅 Built for the modern world, it's a calendar as well as a task manager. Schedule your tasks for a specific date and time and get a bird's eye view of what's important. No more missed deadlines or forgotten tasks.

📊 Extensive filter support means you can view your tasks exactly how you want. Filter by due date, status, priority, and much more.

🔀 Plans change, and so should your tasks. Reorganize and reorder your tasks with utmost ease. Just drag and drop them to where they need to be or search directly for their new home in a few clicks.

🗃️ Knocked a task out of the park? Archive it! Clean up your task list without losing your progress. Revisit archived tasks whenever you want without them interrupting your flow. Clutter-free is the best way to keep your focus and hit the next home run.

🔍 Search your tasks with ease. Find what you're looking for in a flash. No more hunting through your task list to find that one task you need.

⌨️ I know keyboard warriors love their shortcuts. I couldn't live without them so you'll find first-class keyboard support built right in. Sail through your 'must do's' and probably 'should do's' without lifting a finger out of place.
