🎉 Hey folks! I'm back with more goodies for your dypt experience. Get ready, 'cause we're rolling out a much-requested feature: Notes for your tasks!
What are task notes?
📝 Ever had a task that needed just a bit more context? Wanted to jot down some bullet points, reminders, or even a full-blown brainstorm? Task notes let you do just that. And guess what? These notes are fully shareable when you share your tasks so the extra context will help your collaborators get up to speed.
How does it work?
✏️ It’s a breeze. To add a note to the task you're currently browsing, just click the new 'Notes' button underneath the tasks title. To add a note to a subtask, click the menu icon on the right and then 'Notes'. You'll be taken to the notes page for that task.
Whether it's a single sentence, multiple paragraphs or the better part of your debut novel, type away. Your changes are saved automatically. Boom, your note is now part of the task.
When you've added a note to a task, you'll see a yellow/orange note icon underneath the task title. If you've added a note to a subtask, you'll see the same icon next to the subtask title. Clicking the icon will take you to the notes page for that task.
If you want to delete a note, just click the "Clear notes" button on the notes page. You'll be asked to confirm your choice, and then the note will be gone forever.
Share the Knowledge
🔗 If you're into our task-sharing feature, you're gonna love this: when you share a task, the notes go along for the ride! Now you can provide extra value and context to anyone who duplicates your shared tasks. If another user chooses to copy your task, then can select whether to include the notes or not.

🚀 Think about the possibilities. Working on a group project? Share tasks with rich notes to keep everyone on the same page. Crafting a weekend adventure plan? Attach an itinerary as a note. The possibilities are limitless.
Spotlight on privacy
🔒 As always, privacy is a big deal for us. Notes are opt-in and entirely under your control. When sharing, you'll always see a preview of what will be shared, notes included.
